Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, we have facilities in Ontario, Quebec and B.C. and are currently seeking a Materials Manager for our head office location. Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the V.P. Administration, you will coordinate and negotiate with vendors to ensure the flow of goods in a cost effective, timely and efficient manner. While maintaining existing vendor relationships, you will source new suppliers as necessary and develop vendor specific procurement plans. You will determine the E.O.Q. of goods and place purchase orders for required goods. You will secure economical and reliable transport methods while overseeing inventory at all locations. You will supervise local shipping and receiving staff and will regularly interface with sales personnel to ensure min/max levels are optimized. Using our in house software, you will analyze material costs, inventory turns and other KPI’s as determined by senior management. You will ensure the accuracy of product descriptions in our system and coordinate the warranty return procedure. Requirements

Full Time 12 Volt Equipment Installer We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Edmonton, Alberta based team as an Installer. The Installer will report to our team lead and primary duties will consist of building police vehicles. We will train the right candidate in the areas of decal application, installation of siren, radar and emergency vehicle lighting, mobile workstations, partitions, push bumpers, etc, etc. Other duties will include general shop cleanup and shuttling of vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to learn our products, markets, industry and the Mega-Tech sales process under the mentorship of a seasoned Account Manager. Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to and working closely with the Account Manager, you will collaborate with key decision makers and front line personnel to assess the customers’ operational requirements and propose the best solutions possible. While maintaining existing relationships and developing new target customers, you will work within a specified territory and assume growing responsibility for all phases of the sales process, from pre-sales through implementation and follow up. The ideal candidate will anticipate and communicate customer needs in advance, and ensure that Mega-Tech is in a strong position to exceed the customers’ expectations. Responsible for gathering sufficient market information and communicating back to management, you will cultivate relationships within the industry to allow you to develop new growth opportunities, and schedule meetings to conduct presentations of our products for key people within your assigned territory.
