The More time a mobile workforce is on the job employing their expertise, the more money your company makes. Every minute field technicians are away from the job means less time they spend solving customers' problems. Organizations put a premium on getting a mobile field force into the field. Companies equip mobile field workers with the latest and most powerful electronic devices - laptops, notebooks, tablets, PDAs, handhelds, radios, and test equipment. These computers give field technicians extraordinary power to service customers. Yet these laptops and handhelds bring with them a new set of concerns: 1) The battle to keep data on notebooks updated and company databases refreshed. Communications take time - time that keeps mobile workers out of the field. One large company estimates that their mobile workforce spends a minimum each morning of 15 minutes to one half hour using network connections that communications the day's orders and uploading yesterday's activities/ Avoid this time wasted, and mobile worker gains an extra 60 to 120 hours a year in the field making calls, satisfying customers, and making more money for the company. 2) Charging the notebook's battery. Since the notebook's battery is charged overnight, the mobile workers get immediately on the road with a fully charged notebook. They start servicing customer's right now, they start making your company money right now. 3) Laptops are easily stolen. Organizations must provide for laptop security - convenient, safe and locked computer storage. 4) Computer laptop security cabinets have to be simple to set up and maintain. Computer cabinets that are hard to set-up and maintain make the total cost of ownership soar. Laptop Lockup provides answers for all these concerns. 1) Laptop Lockup has a patented, coiled communications wiring system providing dial tone or local area network communications connections to laptops, notebooks and handhelds.
