How is it operated? |
|
- Record mode can be activated by the emergency lights,
wireless microphone, control head, siren or auxiliary
port.
- Digitally encoded signal from wireless microphone
ensures RECORD cannot be activated from an other RF
source.
- Recorded tape can be viewed on monitor in vehicle.
- Two audio tracks separately record the wireless
microphone and backseat microphone and backseat microphone
at the same time.

How is the Evidence Protected? |
|
- Locked enclosure mechanically and electronically
prevents tape removal. "Record Lock" allows
tape to be played back in vehicle while preventing
recording over evidence.
- Unlocking tape door does not allow access to any
VCR controls or any other components.
- Removal and reinsertion of tape is indicated on
recorded tapes.
- Time/Date and 5 digit sequential counter verify
tape integrity.
- Programming can only be set by authorized personnel.
