The New Stalker SpeedBoard is a self contained, water resistant, radar and speed sign designed to measure and display the speed of vehicles. The SpeedBoard's large 14 inch, high-intensity LED digits are visible from 1000 feet away, so drivers can see their speed far enough away so they have plenty of time to slow down.
Mount Them Almost Anywhere
SpeedBoards are perfect for placing on school zone or speed limit signs, on top of a vehicle's trunk or roof, and even on the back of a slow moving D.O.T. or construction vehicle.
Slow Drivers Down Where it Counts
A Stalker SpeedBoard will significantly reduce speeds in school zones, high accident locations, and road construction areas. It's a great way to respond to community concerns and achieve a dramatic improvement of voluntary speed compliance in critical speed zones.
AC, DC, or Solar Powered
SpeedBoards can be DC powered using an accessory outlet or battery, plus they can configured with a built-in AC power supply which allows operation directly from an outlet or AC line.
The Radar is Built-In
SpeedBoards come with either the high performance Stalker Dual radar, or the direction sensing Stalker DSR radar mounted inside.
Sophisticated Violator Warnings
SpeedBoards can be configured to alert drivers who are exceeding a preset speed by flashing the large LED digits. The optional strobe light will flash at violators, drawing even greater attention to the SpeedBoard, to achieve even greater speed compliance.
Locking Security Access Door
The front panel is a hinged door that opens to provide easy access to the controls. The door is secured by a rugged, tamper resistant lock that prevents any unauthorized access.
Large 14 Inch High Intensity LED Digits
The large, high intensity LED digits can be read clearly at about 1000 feet away. A light detector senses the exterior light and automatically dims the LEDs for dusk and nighttime operation. |
