Emergency lighting, radar, and decal outfitting across a 4-motorcycle fleet for the Alberta Sheriffs — including BMW R 1250 RT and Harley-Davidson Electra Glide units.
Motorcycle outfitting is one of the most technically demanding builds we do. Every component has to be mounted with precision — there's no room for bulk, no hiding messy wiring, and every gram of equipment has to be balanced against rider safety and handling. Mega-Tech completed a 4-unit motorcycle outfitting project for the Alberta Sheriffs, equipping a mixed fleet of BMW R 1250 RTs and Harley-Davidson Electra Glides with emergency lighting, Stalker radar systems, video recording equipment, and full Alberta Sheriff livery graphics.
Mixed Platform Fleet: The BMW R 1250 RT and Harley-Davidson Electra Glide have fundamentally different fairing geometry, mounting surfaces, and electrical systems.
Radar Integration on Motorcycles: Mounting and routing a Stalker DSR 2X system on a motorcycle cockpit demands precise positioning.
Weight and Balance: Every piece of equipment added to a motorcycle affects handling.
