Vehicles 2 Ford F-350 Brush Trucks
Duration 2 Weeks

Project Overview

Athabasca County Fire Services brought two new brush trucks into service ahead of the 2026 wildland fire season, replacing end-of-life apparatus in the Colinton and Rochester communities. Mega-Tech was brought in to complete the lighting and graphics package, getting both units fully outfitted and ready for front-line deployment.

The trucks are built on Ford F-350 Super Duty crew cab long box platforms equipped with slide-in skid unit, housing the tank, pump, hose reel, toolboxes, and firefighting equipment, giving the county flexibility to transfer skids between vehicles as needed. With strong off-road capability and compliance with Alberta's Type 6 engine guidelines, these units are designed to access terrain that heavier apparatus can't reach.
