Description

By displaying both strongest and faster targets simultaneously, the Stalker DS can monitor faster vehicles passing larger vehicles and display the speed of both targets.

Features

  • Same lane problems eliminated through automated direction sensing technology
  • Eliminates the need for manual faster/slower target input during same lane operation
  • Makes same lane operation as accurate and simple as opposite lane mode

Available Functions

  • Operator can display or lock:
    • Strong targets
    • Fast targets

Operational Modes

  • Same lane mode
  • Opposite lane mode
  • Stationary mode

True Doppler Audio

  • Opposite-lane Doppler tone is generated from the target's actual speed rather than closure speed
  • Audio tone directly correlates to target speed regardless of patrol speed

Vehicle Speed Sensing (VSS) Operation

  • Standard VSS support included
  • Simple plug-and-play installation through the vehicle's OBD II diagnostic port
  • No wire splicing or harness modifications required

Voice Verification System

  • Audible verification announces:
    • Active antenna (front or rear)
    • Radar mode (moving or stationary)
    • Vehicle direction (opposite or same direction)
  • Helps ensure operational accuracy during every target lock

Track-Thru Lock with 3 Window Multi-Colored LEDs

  • Tracks patrol speed and target speeds after lock
  • Uses amber, red, and green LEDs to differentiate strongest, faster, and patrol speeds

Compact Counting Unit with Detachable Display

  • Compact display/counting unit mounts almost anywhere
  • Dimensions: 5.5" wide x 4.25" deep x 1.75" tall
  • Display/counting unit can be separated and independently mounted with optional cable
  • Display alone measures only 1.125" deep

Serial Port

  • RS-232 serial port interfaces with:
    • Video cameras
    • Computers
    • Remote readouts
    • Printers
  • Compatible with 54Ward and Rockwell-Collins integrated car systems

Automatic Same-Lane Operation

  • Direction sensing antennas automatically determine whether same-direction vehicles are closing or moving away
  • Automatically measures same-direction traffic speeds without operator input
  • Allows locking of same-direction targets
  • Simplifies and automates same-direction enforcement

Enhanced Stationary Operation

  • Direction sensing allows monitoring of specific traffic directions
  • Measures approaching vehicles while ignoring vehicles traveling away
  • Improves long-distance target tracking in complex traffic situations
  • Prevents nearby departing vehicles from interfering with distant approaching target readings
  • Enhances stationary radar effectiveness in a wider range of environments
